Promotion Standards
The expectations below are subject to revision by the staff of University Academy.
If revision occurs notifications will be given.
University Academy does not offer social promotion.
At every grade level, there are specific requirements for promotion to the next grade level. (2018-2019 Student Handbook)

Students must be reading and comprehending at or above grade level by the end of the academic school year as measured by:

Instructional Level W on the Fountas & Pinnell Running Record

Lexile within the range of 800-850

Students must master 70% of the learning objectives in ELA, Math and Science.

Students must score 60% or higher on the Math Benchmark.

Students must score 60% or higher on the ELA Benchmark.

Students must have an attendance rate of 95% or higher.
