Hello Students & Families!
I want to start off with this message of endurance and that message is, "This too shall pass..."
I know that many of you are making so many adjustments to your everyday life and are being asked to learn in a way that you may not be 100% comfortable with and I want you to know that THAT IS OKAY!
We are all experiencing some sort of discomfort in this moment. I am a teammate in this process so feel free to ask for support, extra time, etc. With that being said, my discomfort is learning how to be a teacher and mother at the same time! (Whew)
So please forgive me for any future slip ups for I am making a huge adjustment as well. Morning meetings for Minnesota will happen daily at 9am (unless communicated otherwise) with a special guest (CJ). After that I will be holding office hours daily for all cohorts as well as will be close to either my phone or computer throughout the day until 3:30. Please reach out with any questions or concerns.

Khan Academy - Terms and Labels in Geometry
-Students will dive deep into the terms and language that mathematicians use in describing different shapes, angles, and lines. A lot of this information should be review for students but taking notes during this video will be helpful as we move forward in this unit.
Assignment: Students will engage in a quiz that will include a final question of students will need to share up to TWO new things that they have learned from the video as well as answering questions in regards to what they saw in the video

-Students will explore more about lines, line segments, and rays with a short video along with a few practice questions.

-Students will now get to practice what they know! Have your student complete this assignment until the get THREE stars.
Friday
Review Skill - Ten Times or One Tenth?
-Students will complete the assignment within the Math 2 section of their Study Island program. Students should work on this assignment until they receive a 70% or higher!
