Hello Parents and Guardians - 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders!
I hope you are all safe and healthy! I have added lots of resources for you to listen to books online and some websites that provide quizzes and games as well. These can all be found on my teacher web page called, TITLE 1. Once you go to my teacher web page you will see a tab called, ONLINE LEARNING and one called RESOURCES. Please take a minute to find an online game to play or story to listen to! I have also attached a choice board to use for your learning. It is important to read out loud so that you can hear yourself. This way if you make a mistake or the word doesn't sound right you can use your decoding strategies like pounding and tapping out a word.
*Also, I would love to hear from you! Let's start with a little journal writing, if you'd like to send me an email I would love to know how you are feeling about University Academy being closed. UA along with all the schools in Missouri, Kansas, as well as schools all over the United States are closed due to the Corona virus or COVID19. Tell me what things you are doing at home, what you see when you are outside, and how this whole experience is making you a stronger person. You are living through history right now and I am excited to hear from you!
Please email your journal writing by Friday March 27, 2020. I will continue to check in with you all throughout this week. Ideally, I would like to either send some videos or have a small group meeting with a conference website. I will keep you updated on what's to come! Feel free to email me with any questions about assignments or concerns! I am here to help!
